ok heres the part of the crown im having issues with:

its a bird nest with eggs in it but the nest looks silly. how would you fix it? its pretty tiny so i cant do much detail. tia!

Hmm. First thing that hits me is that it's too "regular" if that makes any sense. Try jagging up the edges a bit instead of letting it be a perfect circle. I'd also use a few different shades of brown floss and do some irregular stitches around the eggs in different directions. You could also use some more brown felt (just a bit) to give it a suggestion of a bowl-like shape on the bottom. Is that a flower child I spy on the crown as well? I can't wait to see it finished!

The eggs are wonderful. The only suggestion I have, but it might require taking everything off is to make the nest, more oval instead of round KWIM, this way the eggs stand up and out.

Make the lines you embroidered shaped more like irregular Y's. Some with one extra 'twig' sticking out, some with two. Alternate your different brown flosses between different parts of the twigs.

Thats what I was thinking. More oval or crescent shaped, like you see it from the side rather than the top. Beautiful, though!

I think i would have made a slit in the nest so the eggs could slide in that slit a little, looking like they were in a nest

I would do a half circle with some eggs in front (but going off the top edge). I also like other's suggestions of make the edges irregular.

You could still do this with a crescent moon shaped piece of the brown felt. Cut the felt so that the outside edge of the crescent matches the bottom curve of the nest. Then sew the bottom edge, leaving the crescent open at the top. The eggs will be partially covered but peeking out as well.
