I am looking for the best place to get apparel to silk screen. I am looking for good quality stuff that I would be proud to sell. I have done some research online but would love some advice from someone who had bought!!
Where do you buy from?
Thanks

Gildan and Port and co are probably the best blanks out there for screenprinting. Though nothing beats the quality of American Apparel, its like the Mercedes of t-shirt blanks. The link is to the retail side, but you can get their wholesale pricing pretty easy by just emailing them.

Unfortunately, I have to respectfully disagree about American Apparel's quality. We've been printing on those shirts for over three years now and every shirt I've made for myself unravels. The collar always separates from the shirt, the serging comes loose on the hem...and I have a hole in all the armpits.
I WANT to like them....but unfortunately, even though they pay their sewers well, they just do shoddy work.
If you want organic shirts, try www.sosfromtexas.com... other shirts, try statonwholesale.com.

Wow! I have been using their stuff and wash it ALL the time, almost to the point of abuse, and the colors hold, and the t-shirts still look fabulous. It sounds like you have gotten more than one batch, no? Have you tried writing them to at least let them know?

art4babies, I notice you're using the organic infant tees, those are the only shirts that don't just disintegrate. the adult shirts are very poorly sewn. my husband runs a sign/t-shirt shop, so we have extensive experience using their shirts, and I find it is always a problem. We try to use the Bella shirts more often, because they seem to be a bit better.
