hi. i'm very worried. i'm 6 tender weeks along after a m/c last fall, and i've now had two events of bleeding right after (during?) sex. (two sex sessions, two bleeding incidents, 4 days apart.) it's only a little, a couple drops in the toilet during "clean-up" and bright red on the TP. it's gone as soon as things return back to status quo in there, and i have no spotting outside of the sex bleeding.

oh - and no, this is not rough sex - it's wake-up lazy sex.

i am a light pregnancy-symptom experiencer, apparently - no morning sickness, just moodiness, fatigue, and very sore breasts. but i haven't detected diminishing symptoms.

has anyone else had sex-only bleeding? did it end in a miscarriage, or a live baby?

thank you for any answers, even if they are sad ones - i need to know, and i'm not seeing my OB until the end of the month.

thank you so much.

I am sorry that you are experiencing the worry associated with bleeding.

Pregnancy after loss is really rough I am finding out. I am a complete nervous wreck with this pregnancy which is hard on heels of 2 m/c's. I had some spotting about 6 days ago. My OB mentioned to me how vascular everything is during pregnancy. She told me that intercourse commonly results in some spotting. She suggested that if I am super on edge about things right now to abstain. She said it won't hurt anything to have intercourse. It might just freak me out. Right now I am too fragile emotionally about this pregnancy to see blood, so I am abstaining for a couple weeks.

My experience has been that my OB's office is great about answering my questions especially with a m/c history. I encourage you to call your OB or MW if you have concerns.

I wish you well!

I have cervical issues, so we are abstaining until sometime in December LOL

I know that it is common to spot or even cramp after sex and it is still common for you to be having implantation bleeding.

ANY bleeding during pg is worrisome, btdt. I hope things turn out as nothing to worry about and you have a wonderful rest of your pg!

It could just be that your cervix is irritated or very sensitive and that being rubbed against or poked during sex is causing it to bleed a little. This happened to me during my first pregancy and it also happened every time i got checked.
