I am not sure where I am supposed to post this so please move in wrong thread.

I am 6 and half wks (due Oct 24th) and I have been bleeding bright red for 5 days now and it has been increasing, it is like a period and with menstrual cramping. I had a hcg test on Monday with a number of 1300. So it was low but still maybe ok if I was off on my dates my midwife said. But I know when my lmp was (Jan 16.). Anyways, I go back on tomorrow Wed. to see if the numbers double. I guess I was wondering if having this much bleeding and cramping be normal and ok? Anyone have it and be ok? I haven't had any morning sickness at all and I usually have real bad right away.

I am worried and needed to get this out. Thanks for reading.

Jumping in to say that I hope things turn out well for you!

Take care. . . and drink plenty of fluids. Take it easy until you know what is happening.

I'm so sorry you're going through this! I don't have any experience, this being my first pg, but I hope things turn out well for you.

There are times when that can happen. It is called a subchroniac hematoma (sp?). I hope it goes well and your numbers double!

REST REST REST! You are in my thoughts and prayers. There are women who have had lots of bleeding and stayed pg/gave birth to happy healthy children. Good luck mama!

I really really hope it turns out okay for you. That is the most scary and awful thing (I've been there too). Take care and may you find peace and comfort.

All you can do is just wait and see. In the meantime, . Drink lots of fluids and try to rest and not get too stressed about the whole thing.

I'm sorry you're going through such a rough and stressful time. I don't have any advice or stories for you as this is my first pregnancy but I wanted to tell you that I would be thinking of you. Update us when you can.

Just try to rest and relax (easier said than done, I know!).

I just wanted to offer my support too. These first tentative weeks of pregnancy can be sooo hard. We so desperately want to shout from the rooftops and celebrate, but the fragility sometimes is too scary, it seems so unfair, pregnancy should be a time to rejoice unreservedly!

I know exactly what you are going through right now. I hope you have a good outcome in all this mama.:

My number dropped by 3 (from 1384 to 1381). So my midwife says I am miscarriaging. I was shocked by it since I after reading about the hematoma info it really seemed like what could be happening to me. I will go on Friday for another set of numbers, I guess for my own mind because I had the strangest dream last night after finding out th enumber hadn't gone up---the dream was that I had an ultrasound and they said my baby was hiding on my left side and my bleeding would stop soon. It just doesn't seem real yet.
