I keep hearing women saying that pregnancy hormones are making them emotionally edgy/weepy/irritable and so on. I had a good round of that early in this pregnancy, but lately I've been having the reverse -- feeling completely blissed out for no more logical reason than just ongoing hormones. Anyone else? Or am I just odd.

I always get crabby towards the end of pregnancy.

I would much rather be blissed out, I am sure my family would wish the same for me

I have been experiencing a broad spectrum of emotional states, and one of them is definately bliss! It does feel hormonal/brain chemical... like I'll look up from what I am doing and the colors of the world look transcendent! Or I'll eat something and it makes me moan! Or music will take my breath away!

It sometimes feels like being hyper-aware/sensitive.. and sometimes it feels like being deeply relaxed.. kinda drunk.

But also, I have my spells of everything else humanly possible!

Yes! That exactly. People keep asking me how I feel in a really "prepared to be sympathetic" sort of tone, and I almost feel I'm disappointing them with telling them how great I feel. I swear if I weren't pregnant they'd all think I've turned stoner.
