AAAAHHHHHHH!!!! I knit a hat for friend's 1 yo out of Zara (100% merino) using a pattern from the Yarn Girls. I am somewhat loose (with my KNITTING

) so I decided to block it... I dampened it with warm water and now it is HUGE. It looks like a lace hat for Vin Diesel.

PLEASE tell me it will get small again as it dries!!! (Otherwise, does merino felt?

Hmmm....so you tried gently scrunching/poking/prodding it down to the size you want and letting it dry flat that way?

I did, but all it seemed to do was crumple up, so I squished it into shape as best as I could, but it is still big.

i have not tried felting merino, but I don't know why it wouldn't. I would give it a go!
