I have created a blog/website in memory of Ferdinand. It consists of some of my journal entries when I was pregnant with him, and the journey I walked after he passed. It feels scary to put my words out there, but I feel it is the right thing to do, because I know I was looking for something like this to read... to know someone had been there; to know that there is hurt, pain, healing and hope.

http://ferdinandsgifts.wordpress.com/

Thanks for sharing that mama, you write beautifully.

Many of the things you wrote sounded just how I think. It is amazing how such a horrific, tragic experience can bring so many women close together, united in a sisterhood that noone wants to belong to.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. I love the post to your daughter. I cried because it is so true, our children grown from babies so quick right before our eyes.

You truly have a gift with the written word. Thanks for sharing.

Take care!

It's a lovely website. It's all so sad, I wish it never happened to anyone. Ferdinand's quilt is beautiful.

The letter to your firstborn was so touching. It made me want to go wake up my dd and give her a big hug and hold on for hours.

And your 100% right in the 11/29 addition. It is like a race, a crazy, messed up race where you are going for a goal of months and months of worrying agony. Who wants something like that? We all do.

And yes, what you all said about being in a sisterhood no one wants to be a part of.... sometimes I feel like saying something like "I wish i never see you in this forum ever again! Get out of here!!" Maybe it will help exorcise all the hurt we have to be feeling??

Amy, you go, girl! ;-) I pray for you daily.
