<p>I started miscarryng (finally) last Tuesday night.  Cramping, clots, tissue...passed most of it within the next day.  ?? </p>
<p>Bled lightly for the next few days.Thought it was over !  </p>

<p>Sunday morning I did have some pressure in my pelvic area, thought I had to go to the bathroom. Went to the toilet and "pushed" so to speak...a small piece of tissue came out (or clot?) and the blood just started POURING out.  I sat there for what seemed like forever, until I felt safe enough to run for the bed.  Laid there for a while and it slowed/stopped back down to the medium flow I was having. </p>

<p>Last night, felt normal again.  Went to the bathroom and when I wiped, all of a sudden I started gushing blood and it was pouring out into the toilet again.  Worse than Sunday.  Could something have been blocking the opening and the blood poolingn there?  </p>

<p>Anyone have this happen?  I am SO nervous to be home alone with my kids at any time.  </p>

<p>If you didn't get faint from it I would think that it was blood that had pooled and was being held back by the piece of tissue. Whenever we give birth, whether m/c or full term we are at risk of hemorrhage for the next several days to two weeks depending on gestation and size of placenta. It doesn't sound to me like that is what happened here, it sounds more like old blood trapped in there; but you do need to rest and try to do as little as possible. If someone could help you with the kids that would be best. Make sure you are not taking anything that thins blood, check any supplements or herbs you are using (teas included). I would get some liquid chlorophyll and begin taking it in high doses and if you eat meat liver would be excellent to help thicken your blood.</p>

<p>Yes, the clot could definitely have been blocking things up. My gestational sac actually got stuck at the top of the cervix. When my OB removed it I had some gushes of blood the rest of the day, and minor bleeding after that for another week or so.</p>

<p>Ladies, thank you so much......I called the midwife and ob....both told me to go to ER to get evaluated to see what is going on.  I felt crazy at the time, and thought they felt I was crazy to say that "I think something is stuck".  I guess we will see.  At least they are going to do an exam. </p>

<p>IME professionals are not very quick to accept the least threatening option and often error on the side of caution. It's not that they think you are crazy they just don't want to tell you everything is okay and have it not be. I hope you are in and out quickly or if you are not I hope you get some good rest out of it and have loving care<span><img alt="hug.gif" src="http://files.mothering.com/images/smilies/hug.gif">.</span></p>
