Hi there! I've mostly hung out in the January thread (even though my due date according to ovulation is December 30) because I just KNEW that with this being my first baby she would totally arrive after the new year! However looks like this babe might have other things on her mind! I woke up this am with bloody show and I am now getting contractions around every 6-10 minutes lasting about a minute... they are really really mild though, like menstrual cramps, so not hurting or anything.. but what is everyones experience with bloody show.. my grandma had just finished telling me about her baby's being born within 24 hours of seeing that blood early on! Am I really in labor or what!?

i had bloody show within 24 hours of one baby, and within 8 hours with another baby -- sounds like it is for real!

I never had bloody show so I dont know. I didnt even lose my plug until pushing! LOL

I didn't have bloody show either and I lost my plug somewhere along the way, though I have no clue when. So, yes, this could be a sign of labor, along with the moon aligning with the stars and Jupiter. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> Hoping it is labor!
