dh tends to buy into all the mainstream propaghanda that not drinking milk dooms you to osteoperosis and that if the FDA approves it, it has to be good! I really can talk until I'm blue in the face and nothing
I really want to transition into primarily healthy, natural eating, organic as much as possible. I know/accept that I can't change/control what my husband eats, its a lifestyle change and I can't do it for myself and our kids without his support. I'm pregnant with our first and really am having a hard time cutting out the crap without him behind me.

So I'm hoping to buy a book for him (I got so frustrated earlier and he saw how upset I was that anything I said fell on deaf ears, he agreed to read it, heh) some main things I want him convinced of are that milk *isn't* healthy, the importance of organic, dangers of artificial sweeteners and food dyes, and high fructose corn syrup.. lets see.. I miss anything? heh. So umm.. any recommendations for a convincing book, hopefully also being a generally *interesting* read? I'll order it today! hehe THANKS!!

I COMPLETELY understand!

My husband was just like yours when we married. He even believed that Drs were here to...HELP us!

And now...he is a strong defender of Raw milk!

Sally Fallon's book , Nourishing Traditions is a fabulous primer! And then articles from www.westonaprice.org are EXCELLENT to keep up to date on the happenings.

Best Wishes!

Nourishing Traditions is good for a lot of things, but they are very extremely pro-dairy. I can't think of a book off the top of my head though that goes into the details of why dairy is bad.
