Book Suggestions?

I keep looking at all the books on Amazon and I'm so confused. What books would you suggest? Holden is a global delays and while they don't think he has SID they still want him to do sensory therapy.

Are they're any book that deal with general delays?

I haven't found any yet for kids over 12 months (there was one, for infants with gross motor delays that was good, but by the time I got it, Maura almost didn't need it.)

I did get "The Late Talker" - though it's more for kids with apraxia, it's still a very good read.
I think I will pick up "The Late Talker". I hate not knowing as much as I think I should about Holden's condition(s). But I just don't know where to look.
If you think sensory issues may be a problem, one of the best books is "The Out-of-Sync Child" by Carol Stock Kranowitz. I also love "The Out-of-Sync Child Has Fun" by the same author -- the activities are fun things for all kids, regardless of needs.

Also, if your child is receiving therapy, then you might ask the therapist(s) for book suggestions. I've gotten some of my best book suggestions from my kids' therapists because they have read many books and could tell me which book would be most helpful for my particular child.
Thanks I will check out your suggestions! He is right now in process of starting with all new therapists. I will definitely ask them about some book suggestions!
