I am so excited about going. I will be bringing my nursling along I didnt read anywhere if thats ok or not but I cant leave him since Im nursing. I already have read alot of the books on the list but I would like to own them for a lending library and reference. I found all of the required reading on amazon for about $100. but I would still like to keep looking.

Oh, don't worry even a tiny bit! Therese was the "Teacher" in Vermont in July, and we had, I think, four or five nurslings attending sessions with mamas and coming in and out. It was so MORE than okay...with Therese as WELL as with the rest of the women there. I even had one of the women (who was very newly pregnant at the time) THANK me for nursing my 2.5 year old during the sessions, as it really cemented in her mind that extended breastfeeding is a normal and emotionally healthy thing. I thought that that was pretty darned neat. Have fun, it's such an awesome weekend.

Oh, and yes, I got all of my books on amazon at used prices. I think I spent about a hundred and twenty on the entire required and suggested reading lists. Not bad at all, considering what they'd go for new.
