I've heard there are books written for kids with HF Autism that will help them understand their condition, and/or help them read about social rules. Does anyone know the names of these books?

thanks

Although not quite what you are looking for, there's a book that I just got for my son that I absolutely LOVE. It's a story that is about a boy who is different but that no matter how different someone is, that person is still important.

It's called The Boy Who Grew Flowers.
Every month, a flower grows out from the top of his head. Yep, silly concept but a gentle way to talk about differences. It goes on to show how he's accepted for his differences.
It's a lovely story with great illustrations.
(see my sig for the book)

I've seen some books at Barnes & Noble about real life special needs, etc, but I just didn't think ds would connect as much to it.
