I'm looking for a book(s) on Montessori techniques and activites to do with a young toddler.

Any ideas? My DS is 17 months old and we finger paint, use playdoh, colour, snuggle with lots of books, and I encourage his independence.

But I'm pregnant and my brain is gone to mush! I need ideas!!!

I just got this book on the recommendation of someone here:

http://www.amazon.com/Teach-Me-Mysel...6987871&sr=8-1

I received it yesterday and it looks full of nifty ideas, though quite a few of them are for kids older than mine (19 months). All the ideas are very easy to enact, inexpensive, and look pretty engaging.

If anyone has recommendations for books that have ideas for younder kids I'd love to see them. TIA.
