DD and DS were exposed to Chicken Pox on Friday. We went the whole hog and had them share lollypops with the inflicted child.

As I have purposefully exposed them, I would like to do my best to give them as gentle a ride through this as possible. They are healthy, unvaxed kids, so I don't anticipate too much trouble, I plan to continue with the supplements they already get: CLO, high vitamin butter oil, Aussie Seaminerals, probiotics in the form of homemade kefir, a level teaspoon of Aecerola powder (vitamin C -- they won't take Sodium Ascorbate willingly) in raw apple juice per day. They eat a pretty good diet with no refined sugar or white flour, although DD eats a more varied diet than DS. They aren't fond of bone broth so I do hide it in things, they also only eat raw dairy products. They also get plenty of exercise and fresh air (weather permitting which looks good for the next 10 days at least), but I am encouraging them to be outside even more.

So what else can I do to help support their bodies during the incubation period?

Sounds like you've got it covered.

This is from Hilary Butler (I was confused !!!)

http://www.alternative-doctor.com/va...1varicella.htm

Hope they come down with at least one pox. It almost seems disappointing if you expose them willfully and they don't get any symptoms.

I hope they all get a nice, easy (but effective) case of the pox. Stock up for group oatmeal baths (my best memory of having chicken pox as a gradeschooler).

That's interesting. How did that get there? :

I didn't write any of the alternative medicine stuff there. That was written by someone else and was on the opposite page.

Nevu mind.

Good luck and here's to a mild case of pox!
There was a case of pox in my hubby's office, but he didn't tell me until weeks later. :
BUT, I tracked down some other co-workers who DID go over there while they were most infectious and we got together after their kiddos came down with it. STILL NOTHING.
