I did a google search. Where are you located? I did not find many on the web so I am sure having your name out there will be great. Do you have a website?

BTW, I did not go Bradley b/c the closest class was too far to attend on weeknights. I was not crazy about this decision but it was reality. I really felt like there was a dearth of Bradley practitioners out there given how much great stuff I'd heard about this birthing method. I'm glad to hear that you are reaching out

I pulled a list of area Bradley Instructors from the Bradley website. I also received a list of area childbirth instructors (all kinds) from my midwives. I called three or four instructors to see when they had classes starting, what their fees were, and to get a 'feel' for them. There were more differences between Bradley instructors than I expected. The instructor I ended up seeing wasn't even on my midwives' list. I LOVED her.

You could get yourself known in local MOMs clubs, LLL meetings, visit your local birthing circle, ICAN, etc ...

This probably won't help you, but I found mine because I was browsing the website of the greater baltimore yoga center in Timonium looking for regular yoga classes. I clicked the link for 'natural childbirth' & read about bradley. I actually hadn't even heard of it before that! (I hadn't developed any interest in natural CB yet!)

Meg - your JUST the type of person i want to find

I was introduced by an internet friend ~ she litereally changed my life. I just think about how luck y i was to meet her. When we did our backup hospital walk through i met a women terrified of giving birth there. At 30+ weeks she STILL didn't know she had other options. I wanted to cry for her...

I found a list of people on the bradley site, but I only contacted the people who had websites with info about them and were convenient to where I live. There seemed to be some crummy generic "websites" on the bradley pages... I went with someone who took the time to put a real site together! Even if you just get a free blog or something that tells about you and what you believe... then people can get a better feeling for if they jive with you!

May as well reply to you here too...!

I was looking for classes around the Columbia area a couple of weeks ago. Book something quickly, the classes are 10 weeks long!

I am actually having to go up to Hampstead (Carroll County maybe) in order to take classes, since I had missed the start of Lorrie's classes in Columbia. Not sure about DC providers though. The bradley site was fairly helpful in finding a provider. The prices I was quoted were $275-$325 per couple for 10 weeks.
