I haven't looked into the cost of Brain Child supplements, we use a mix of Thorne and Perque (Perque has a chewable kids multivit, but it needs a separate mineral supp). Not sure what you're looking for, in general I really like the quality of Thorne and Perque, in terms of clear labelling, not having weird additives/colors/whatever. Downside is that it's Internet only (I think, I heard some stores may carry some Thorne products, but I haven't seen it).
