I'm just 23 weeks today and would swear I have been feeling Braxton-Hicks contractions since 21 weeks now. Is it normal to be feeling them so early the second time? With DD I was 32/33 weeks before I started feeling any, and now I'm noticing them probably between 4 and 20 times a day.

Totally normal. I've had them since 12 or 13 weeks, and with my first pregnancy, I had them from about 15 or 16 weeks on. I know it can vary a lot by person and by pregnancy.

I had my first one this weekend during a walk up a big hill. I was surprised it took this long, I had them sooner with the others...

I feel them almost as often as I feel movement (not at the same time though!) It's crazy to me. I don't remember them *at all* with my first.

Yup. I'm 23 weeks with #3 and have had a few that actually made me pause and wonder if I needed to be worried about impending labour!

I've read that they actually start around 7-8 weeks of pregnancy but that we don't notice them until our uterus is larger. I've been feeling bh for quite a few weeks now too.

My BH started at 15 weeks in my first two pregnancies. I swear I have been feeling them since almost the beginning this time. Totally normal by mid-pregnancy and they will not make you go into labor!

With DS, I never felt a single one. This time around, I have been feeling them occasionally since about 12 weeks.
