My own guesses...

I wonder if the family in Alaska will have some conflict with Cullens, and of course, there is always the Volturi. I also wonder if Bella will be able to use powers of others against them... And I kind of hope that she turns into a vampire in the begining of the middle of the story. I'm curious to see her use her powers, and adjust to new life. I hope she'll live happily with Edward.

Crazy ideas::

What if Breaking Dawn about Bella getting pregnant and then being unable to turn into a vampire for a while, and they have to hide her from Volturi the whole story? I know, it's a stretch... but they did agree on "doing it" before she turns into a vampire, right? heheh

Your turn.

srry to burst your bubble, but Bella cant get pregnant, not from Edward that is. When you become a vampire, the only real fluid is the venom, so edward is technically, "shooting blanks." Stephanie Meyer talked about this. My ideal ending would be, She gets turned, and then the wolves see this as breaking the treaty. There is a fight between jacob and edward personaly, and as jacob is about to kill edward, bella steps in and kills jacob. Idk why i think this, i guess i just want to see bella and edward together, and i dont like jacob, lol

I don't like Jacob as a partner for Bella; I'm totally in the rooting-for-Edward camp, and I dont' see how it could end up any way.

Here are a few of my guesses:

Jacob ends up in Alaska, but I think in the end he is helpful. I don't think Bella could kill him, or that Meyer would go that route. I honestly think at some point there will be some resolution and he'll imprint on someone else. I *can* see a fight between the Cullens and the wolves though. Maybe involving Leah threatening Bella, ending with Jacob having to choose between his own kind or Bella (my bet is on Bella).

Volturi play some sort of role. I think Bella *is* going to have some sort of special power, and that will continue to draw the Volturi toward them. I don't have much of a guess on what her special power will be, but I think it will involve her mind. Alice and Jasper are "soul mates" and they both have powers; I think Meyer will continue this with Bella, since she is already made out to be different than other humans in certain ways. What does she do now that is somewhat extrodinary, though, that would indicate her power? I don't know.

I think the Volturi will maybe be threatened by the Cullens when Bella joins them, particularly if she has some sort of extrodinary power. They are all paired--Rosemarie and Emmett, Edward and Bella, Carlisle and Esme, Alice and Jasper. I think this makes them more powerful than the Volturi, and this connection that they have with each other will play out more in their power struggle with the Volturi and other human-hunting vampires. Perhaps what will happen is some sort of epic struggle between human-hunting vampires and clans like the Cullens will build. I can see the werevolves becoming involved in this as maybe Jacob steps in to his leadership role and creates a new treaty, allying with the Cullens and others like them against the Volturi and human-hunting vampires.

I would like to end this by mentioning a couple of thoughts--

There better be some sort of consumation scene, and she better get turned into a vampire by Edward.

Jacob must imprint on someone, come to understand Bella and Edward's connection then, and stop being a jerk.

I can't believe how much like crack this series is to me. It's not even that well written, there are lots of inconsistencies throughout the story lines that would normally drive me so crazy that I wouldn't even be able to finish the book, but for whatever reason I am totally captivated by the story and am desperate to read Twilight from Edward's point of view. My reaction is seriously pitiful. I'm ashamed to be so taken by a series, but what can you do? I haven't been this silly since LOTR came out on DVDs and I spent many, many hours watching them with/without commentary, watching and rewatching the appendices, etc. It's terrible, my addiction to the Twilight series.

Nope, Meyer specifically has stated that Jacob did NOT imprint on Bella.

I hope we see him imprint on someone; I think not only will it bring him a lot of peace, but he'll realize how deep the feelings between Bella and Edward are, and be more understanding of their relationship.

Meyer won't unless she has Bella and Edward get married, and even then it probably won't get a mention for two reasons:

(1) This is, when all is said and done, a Young Adult series, not a Harlequin romance,

and

(2) Meyer is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS, or Mormon, if you prefer).

So, sorry to burst your bubble, but a sex scene between Bella and Edward is just not gonna happen one way or the other.

I don't need explicit hot sex, newcrunchdaddy; what she's been doing so far is just fine, just finish it for crying out loud. Implied sex will work for me.

I don't think that just because she is an LDS that she won't somehow get to that. I mean, it's not like it hasn't been a bit racy to begin with. Look how big some LDS families are, it's not like that don't know how to enjoy themselves with their partners.

*The villan in the story?
The Volturi

*Do you think she will turn into a vampire in the beginning of the story? or the end? (*gasp* or never?)
I don't think she will be turned. For one reason or another.

*Do you think it will have a happy ending?
Yes, I think that as a reader I will feel fulfilled on one way or another. She has a lot of work to do convincing me that Bella shouldn't be changed, though.

*What does happy ending mean to you?
I'm not sure. I have a feeling that they don't get married. Has anyone seen anything that suggests this?

*And of course... Edward or Jacob?
Please, Edward. Jacob grosses me out.

*Other... Any crazy ideas of what could happen?
I, too, am interested in the sex scene; while I appreciate her religion may interfere with the graphic quality of it, they have gotten "hot and heavy" in their making out, and I suspect that the sex scene would just be an extension of the "hot and heavy." They agreed that they would be married first, and married sex is fine in the Mormon faith, right?

I do see the issue with it being a young adult novel, though.

I didn't mean to imply that LDS=Prude, I was just trying to say that because LDS have a different viewpoint of sex and marriage (both theologically and secularly speaking: it is viewed as something special and sacred between husband and wife) if she does marry off B&E it's possible that she won't even bring it up.

I don't want Jacob to imprint on Bella because it's supposed to be rare, right? And nearly everybody else has done it, right? It would make me very unhappy if that happened.

However, I really like Jacob. Probably because he is furry and warm and big. Also, I think he's really into Bella because she's Bella and not because she smells like the tastiest slab of prime rib.

If she's turned, it will be at the end of the book. Or, there will be some problem turning her, maybe? What's her deal with blood? That might play in somehow. Or, he turns her and she can't feed because it's too icky. Always fainting when she's supposed to be hunting.

i do have an outlandish theory though- she's immune to the venom and therefore can't be with Edward "4eva" (said with visions of pencil drawn hearts and rainbow butterflies) so she has to fall back on her second choice, Jacob (who should run while he still can) and they have lots of cubs and all is well.

all i can say is while the books annoy me the more i think about them i'm still probably going to end up reading BD and all i can hope for is the introduction of a real female character with strength and a mind of her own. Leah's great, but mean and catty. i'm talking a strong female that's not a stereotype. heck, even a not-so-strong one that's not a stereotype. *crosses fingers*

In the novels, or elsewhere? Because there's sure a lot of read-between-the-lines info in the novels that he imprinted on her.
