Can someone fill me in on what brands of breastmilk storage bags are available in the USA and where you buy them from?

Thanks

There's Lansinoh, Medela, Gerber, The First Years, and probably some others. You can buy them at grocery stores (smaller selection), and stores such as Target, Walmart, and Babies R Us.

Personally, I prefer the Lansinoh bags (thicker plastic and double zip) and have found that Target has the best price on them.

I too like the Lanisoh bags for a few reasons. They are softer plastic so they don't crack (I've had Medela ones split on me after thawing the milk) and they have a nicer area to write the date on. I also like the double zip. I get mine at Target.

i use lansinoh too! i used to use medela, but they are about twice as expencive and no different at all... i guess the only reason they charge so much for medela ones is that you can attach them to the breast pump, but i find it very inconvenient (milk leaks everywhere) and only used couple of times, so i stopped buying them.
i buy mine at target also.

I prefer the lansinoh brand. I pumped more milk than geez, anyone I know, and donated a ton. Never had a problem with a single bag.

They are sold in most drugstores or places like Target. I generally included them in web orders because I purchased them in bulk.

I too like the Lansinoh ones. I tried First Years that I got in a sample and HATED them... the plastic was so thin and cheap feeling. The Lansinoh feel really heavy duty and I've not had any problems with them while thawing or anything. I have seen them the cheapest at Target so far.

Just an off the cuff suggestion, But I use glass bottles. They are reusable (Eco friendly) and I have found DS will drink the BM given to him that was stored in the glass much more readily then he would stored in the plastic. Must be the plastic makes it taste funny to him or suttin.
