I had a car accident a month ago, and am recovering from a back injury that's keeping me inactive and in a lot of pain constantly. I work 7 days a week, and have become so drained in every way from having the injury and having to work with it. Now I've been getting depressed, which is something I've never experienced except for some PPD. It's awful, and I know I need to take something, I hate using anything unnatural in my body, and my husband has some St John's Wort I was thinking about trying. Thing is, my 2 year old daughter still nurses very often. Does anyone know if that's ok? I thought maybe I could make her just nurse at night for awhile, and take it just in the morning so it's out of my body before she nurses at night.
I actually did that this morning because I felt so horrible, and it helped a lot. I don't want to do it again though, till I know it's ok. I googled it and couldn't find anything that way very helpful.
Thanks in advance for any input

Have you tried Bach's Rescue Remedy? It's natural and you can use it while pregnant or nursing, you can give it to kids and animals too, it takes the edge off. I found it helpful even during labour.
