A good friend of mine with a one month old baby has to cut a lot of things out of her diet. Her baby is very stuffy, trouble breathing, mucousy poop and her doctor said it was most likely allergies. Her sister's children both have allergies, too. I want to give her some ideas of what to eat/add to food, especially for fat and protein. She has to cut out eggs, chicken, nuts, dairy, wheat and soy. There may be more things that I'm forgetting, but those are the main ones. All I could come up with was adding flax seed to things and eating quinoia. I know there are more options, but I've never really felt the need to try them myself. Any ideas would be appreciated.

eta: Beans are also out and she doesn't really like red meat at all.
