I think it says a lot for how breastfeeding is become "normal" again when a mainstream magazine like Babytalk continues to incorporate breastfeeding on a regular basis in their magazine -- especially when it's not the subject of an article.

For instance, I received my free issue yesterday, and there were a few references:

A "day in the life" story/journal of a mom and her kids. She's nursing and says things like "Snack time. Banana for Toby...boobs for Nate" or for her bedtime routine "my patented 'boob, bath, boob' routine." She gets annoyed with her DH for feeding a pumped bottle 15 minutes before she comes home from working out.

Freshness and storage tips for food, including expressed breast milk (and big thumbs up for supplementing the AAP recommendations with the LLL ones, since the AAP are WAY too short)

There are still plenty of things I don't like about this magazine, but I think the inclusion of breastfeeding as a normal part of other baby things they talk about shows that our society is slowly changing to one that is more breastfeeding-friendly.
