Anyone on this diet? What are you eating throughout your days? Care to share ideas & recipes? Has it been difficult to follow this diet? I am newly pregnant and would like to model my diet off of the Brewer's Diet as much as possible. I still need to learn the ropes though.

I'm not really following it, but I have been inspired to increase my protein intake. Hummus, yogurt, deviled eggs, cheese, nuts/nut butters (I keep almonds in my purse), organic chicken, etc.: I don't drink milk though and I can't stomach 2 eggs/day.

I've never even heard of this! Is there a good link?

Hi - the Bradley class I did while pregnant really emphasized this diet. I thought it was great -if a little high on calories. Once I got into the swing of it I found it fairly easy to get the protein in.

Here is a link:

http://www.blueribbonbaby.org/ifyouarepregnant/

(by the way, not sure if it was due to the diet or not, (although I am sure it did not hurt!) but I had trouble free pregnancy and a healthy 8lb 6oz baby)

HA! I just realized I had read this! It's so great to hear that you had an awesome pregnancy and a nice big baby!

I'm so scared that since I'm nursing and maybe not eating enough (although I don't think that is an issue that I'll end up having this little tiny baby.

Same with me... basically I see it as an approach to eat more protein. I don't follow the diet specifically.
