Hmmm...<br>
I suppose in a "big picture" kind of way Mr. Morris having links to circumcision fetish sites on his website helps to undermine his "It's healthier!" <i>outward</i> stance on circumcision and reveals his true (and twisted) motivation for promoting same, but it galls me no end that these sites are populated primarily by gays (as virtually any penis-related sites are bound to be), thus making them "gay" sites in the eyes of Papai, someone I've come to respect, and inviting comments such as Paul B's.<br><br>
I'd prefer all gays not to be tarred with the same brush as Brian Morris, as gays who promote circumcision are in my experience an extremely small minority-within-a-minority.

But click through the links, some of them are literally sites with men looking for sex with men and glorifying how attracted they are to the cut penis.<br><br>
I had no intention of painting "all gays" with the same brush.<br><br>
But those sites are almost all adult/sexual anyway, be they gay or straight, which is pretty twisted for someone whose site claims to be about "educating" parents.

Hmm. I interpreted Papai and Paul B's comments in the same way...<br><br>
That it is not a surprise that this extreme pro-circ guy ends up having circ fetish sites on his website and other adult content... .that just should not be on an 'educational' site.<br><br>
It is too bad more parents and, heck, journalists, don't see through that. I guess it is only obvious when you know a little more and know what to look for.<br><br>

Wow - this guy is crazy!!! Just read the part about why males are born with a foreskin - seems like some really lame, poorly-thought out ideas!!! And he says that society has now prevented those who were "too young to care for offspring" from reproducing (claiming that the foreskin *used* to be important because it made sexual acts in younger people less successful - which makes very little sense to me anyway!)... uh, where does he live???<br><br>
And this: "It must be recognized that there are many painful experiences encountered by the child before, during and after birth." What??? What painful experiences does a child experience before birth? They are pretty well-cushioned in there! And he is failing to recognize that a child doesn't typically have to go through physical pain during and after birth.<br><br>

Ummm, I'm not quite sure of what misdemeanour I might be being accused here? Did I say something that criticised "gays"?<br><br>
For those who do not know, Morris is a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Morris" target="_blank">professor of molecular biology</a> at the University of Sydney, Australia. He has research interests in cervical cancer and hypertension (high blood pressure) and is well respected in those fields. He is <i>not</i> (qualified as) a medical practitioner, so dealing with "real people" is not his forte.<br><br>
He is the idol of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jakew" target="_blank">Jake Waskett</a> who as it happens, <i>is</i> "gay" and who enforces the "party line" on <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Brian_Morris&action=history" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a>.
