Britax differences

I need to purchase a new car seat, as DS is to tall for his infant seat. I have been reading a lot of reviews, but am still a little confused. I am wondering what the difference is between the Britax Marathon and the Britax Roundabout. There is about a $70 price difference. Anyone have any advice. Thanks!

The difference is capacity. The Marathon harnesses up to 65 lbs and the Roundabout only to 40. The Marathon will last you years longer than the Roundabout.
Marathon hands down. DD1 is 4 still has another year or so before she will outgrow her marathon. She will outgrow it heightwise, she is barely 30 lbs.

The roundabout's slots are 15in, the marathon's are, gosh I'm spacing right now, maybe 17in?

With the roundabout, you will need to buy another seat after your child outgrows it, with the marathon your child might be able to go to a booster. There is no way that I'd allow DD1 to ride without a 5 point harness, she is far too young, and will be for some time.
