Hello,<br>
I am originally from the UK but now live in New York. My little sister (she's 19) is pregnant (she lives in England)and I would like to buy her a baby book but I want to get one written by a British author which introduces Attatchment Parenting. Any ideas? She's quite mainstream but I'd like to introduce her to something different.

You could try Deborah Jackson's "three in a bed" - I think she's British <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/blush.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="blush">

I second that recommendation. This book was my 'introduction' into AP, years ago. Love it!

Anything by Deborah Jackson is great, but I'd particularly recommend "Baby Wisdom" to read during pregnancy followed by "Three in a Bed".
