Ds is 19 months old, and usually only nurses before bed and when he wakes up. I have been battling some major sinus/migraine issues which has required me to take meds that have really zapped my supply down to nothing. I listen when he's nursing, and don't really hear him swallowing anymore.

Even though I wouldn't mind being done with the breastfeeding, I know he still wants to. With winter cold season coming up, I feel that I wouldn't mind waiting until spring to maybe possibly try to wean. But....in the meantime, if he is going to nurse I suppose he should actually get some milk, not just suck on an empty boob.

So, question is....if I start taking Fenugreek, will my supply come back a little, or is this a lost cause? My supply has been SUPER low for about 2 weeks now. Does this fall into the category of relactating now?

You can try more milk plus from motherlove herbals. Also you could consider domperidone, which is an Rx drug as long as it doesn't interact with the other stuff you're taking.

Mother's Milk tea, TONS of water, Lactate support herbal from health food store, prenatals, and good nutrition. Good luck and I agree that with cold season-it's super important!
