No snaps! I wish the 3.0 would have had them. I have never had the 1.0s but between the 2.0s and 3.0s... the 3.0s now have extra polyester material at the top front edge of the diaper to keep the suedcloth from coming in contact with cloths and wicking moisture. You can also fold this extra material down when the diaper is snapped on newborn size to make it even smaller. The stretchy tabs are supposed to be better made and the velcro closure is stronger. They also come with a newborn insert to make the diaper less bulky when snapped for a newborn. I don't see a huge difference between them, I still like my 2.0s just as much. I do like that the velcro is stronger and I love the newborn insert. My daughter is 15 mos and I use it with the regular insert for extra absorbancy and can't wait to use it when we have another newborn.
If you post a picture (both sides, pls) I can identify which one you have.<br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
On the 1.0's they feel like the same material that camping tents are made out of. The 2.0's are a much nicer material. And I don't have any 3.0's yet, but they "look" similar to the 2.0's as far as material goes.
