can the co-sleeper be used on a bed that is not on a bedframe? what do you think? also, can it be converted to a playyard?

I'd imagine you can use the cosleeper on a bed without a frame because it attaches by straps with plastic plates on the end that you place between mattress and box spring. But the heights would be off, you may be able to compensate somehow but I haven't tried it.

It does convert to a playyard.
