Starting yesterday I decided to give cloth diapering a whirl with my 2.5 month old dd. I bought different stuff including 2 Bummis SWW. The woman at the store suggested a size small for my dd. The size medium looked really large but I did not hold it up to dd because she was asleep in the sling. After I washed them and I put one on dd with a pf in it, it seems like it is on the small side. I can't be sure because I am new to all of this but there doesn't look like the waist has much room left in it. I probably could make it tighter but yesterday there were red marks on one of her thighs and she got red chaffing on her belly when she was asleep in the cradle hold in the sling for awhile. I loosened it up some today and she quickly got a leak out one of her legs. Is this just the nature of Bummis SWW or does she just have the wrong size? If it helps any she is around 14 pounds and her thighs are 9". TIA!

I'd say definitely get a medium.

I'm not a big fan of SWW with chunky legged kiddos.

Libby did great in them until her legs got chubby and now they just get red marks

I have found that wool soakers are SO much gentler on her legs!

Yay for making the switch! Did you go to a real cloth diaper store? Where? That's so cool
