We have a new guest living in our backyard. A cute little cottontail decided to move in to the yard. So any hints on things we can do to help him out food wise? We have a small bird bath that is at ground level and has water so he can drink that. I have been leaving out radish's and lettece for him to keep him out of my garden so far this has been working. Any other thoughts or idea's ? He is so cute
TIA

He can probably take care of himself, but if you'd like to tempt him, keep in mind rabbits are active at dawn and dusk. Leave treats out for him just before evening, near bushes or a hedge to provide safety. Our house rabbits love greens, herbs, dark lettuce, apple, carrot, and chunks of banana are favorites.

You might try putting a little out directly on the ground, then check the next day to see if he touched any. Rabbits won't eat wilted stuff so remove whatever he ignores.
