Rich Lowery at the National Review says that "Bush Flopped" in his meeting with Republicans on the Hill. Seems he gave 'em a " pep talk" and then left...didn't stick around, ironically, to answer questions (I theorize he had no script, or else "Uncle Dick" was not there to do the ventriloquist act). The folks were apparently disappointed.<br><br>
