If you believe this you have not been paying attention at all!

check out this site of Bush quotes:

http://supak.com/bush.htm

a few examples:

"[T]he illiteracy level of our children are appalling."-Washington, D.C., Jan. 23, 2004

"My views are one that speaks to freedom."-Washington, D.C., Jan. 29, 2004

"Do you have blacks, too?"-To Brazilian President Fernando Cardoso, Washington, D.C., Nov. 8, 2001

"They misunderestimated me."
Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

"They want the federal government controlling Social Security like it's some kind of federal program."
St. Charles, Mo., Nov. 2, 2000

"Other Republican candidates may retort to personal attacks and negative ads."
-Fund-raising letter from George W. Bush, quoted in the Washington Post, March 24, 2000 (a LETTER!)

"Will the highways on the Internet become more few?"
-Concord, N.H., Jan. 29, 2000

"This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of madmen and uncertainty and potential mental losses."
-At a South Carolina oyster roast, as quoted in the Financial Times, Jan. 14, 2000

"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"
-Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000

"I think anybody who doesn't think I'm smart enough to handle the job is underestimating."
-U.S. News & World Report, April 3, 2000

Go look at the site. It is quite amusing. I would be able to forgive a few blunders but this list is too exhaustive to overlook. The guy is frighteningly stupid. And some of you want him for 4 more years?!

Is it strange I feel kind of dizzy and nauseus when reading too much stuff with people using singular and plural incorrectly?

Grammar doesn't usually make me feel like keeling over and cowering on the floor.....:LOL

Sometimes I think it would be easier if Bush were just stupid. Can't quite work out what it is, but I do think he's got something between the ears.

Here is another great site for Dubya quotes:

Dubyaspeak.com

Quote:
The reason I keep insisting that there was a relationship between Iraq and Saddam and al Qaeda, because there was a relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda.
-- Dubya's answer when asked why he insists there was a relationship between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda when the September 11th Commission says that there wasn't one, Washington, D.C., Jun. 17, 2004
Wow. Guess I'll just take his word for it then. The man makes me sick.

Perhaps we just need to try on the other POV for awhile and admit that yes, the man is a genius and everything in the world is just peachy; it's all going as he and his father who art has planned. All is well and fine and dandy.

Doesn't that feel good, now?

Maybe we should start a thread where we can practice this POV for awhile and who knows...maybe we'll see the light and leave our evil ways behind...
