I thought before I had seen Business Cards with BFing laws printed on them. Anyone know where I can find these? TIA!

Our WIC offices distribute what they call License to Breastfeed cards. On one side, they have the direct quote of our state law- basically just that a woman has a right to breastfeeding anywhere she would otherwise be allowed to be. On the other side, contact numbers for supportive organizations.

I haven't had any luck finding these online... a search brought me to a Midwifery Today e-newsletter that mentioned that Texas has some meant to be handed out to women found NIP-ing, meant to support and encourage them, and suggests that they should write to their legislature to let them know of any positive or negative experiences with NIP-ing, esp in regards to particular businesses.

Since BF laws vary from state to state, I wonder if the only cards out there will be state-specific?

I wonder if our local WIC office has them. I'll have to ask next time I am there. I was thinking of maybe printing some up myself if I can't find any.

Gee I've never heard of those here in Washington.............great idea though. I know my state has a law that breastfeeding in public is not indecent exposure, but I don't know if they have any other pro-breastfeeding laws. Guess I''ll have to look.
