Last night DH caught me surfing Ebay and the TP for Fluff...

No I didn't buy anything...I have remarkable restraint...but he's like

"*SIGH* Looking at diapers AGAIN?"

I go "Umm...well, we know what we're having now, so what's wrong with looking for low cost gently used diapers in cute boy colours/prints"

He just shakes his head and walks away..

I should ask him for a diaper budget after my virtual baby shower that some online friends are holding for me...

I know the feeling. On the day our cc bill arrives, I make dinner, clean the house, ETC (ahem)...just to lighten the blow of the bill.

I know I wish he'd just "Get it" and let me do this whole cute stash thing. It's gonna be my last baby so...I wanna get him in all sorts of cute boyish colours and prints as possible.

Tonight DH was on his bowling message board and I told him I don't understand how he can read about bowling balls every day. He replied, "The same way you can read about diapers every day."

I think I just mumbled something lame like "well at least it's for our son." I quickly scurried away - he had a good point.

I hear it from my DH constantly, too. I love window shopping for new dipes and he's always..."you're looking at dipes AGAIN?!". I just simply say, "hey, at least I'm not buying", to which he replies, "yet." Good point.

Glad to know it's not just my DH though

My dh is the same way. Then he says "we have plenty of diapers that are dd's that he can use. If I don't mind my son wearing girly prints, I really don't see how you can!"

Well it's not just the prints. See DD was just a CPF/Snappy/SWP girl...she got a woolie from the diaper fairy and I bought her a lacy bum from dry bees for my wedding but that's it.

So...her CPF's which have lasted her since the age of 3 months to like a little over 2 years of age, are extremely worn out, they be usable for my PP time, but to the burp cloth bin they go

So this new babe *does* need new diaps...

LOL, I get remarks from DH too. I just tease him back when he's looking at tractors/4-wheelers/snowmobiles/guns/whatever. He shouldn't complain much since I'm trying to sell off some stuff, but then I'm planning on geting more fluff for the Baby
