This has got to be the busiest board I have ever seen. I swear, I've been a part of several other boards.. and it was like watching molasses in January. Here, though, everytime I click on it, there are like 6 new posts. I swear, at least it gives me something to read.

I'm selling a bunch of stuff on e-bay today. I have $75 to spend on anything diaper related. I can always use a few extra dollars, but my husband has been so tolerant lately, I don't want to push it. Although, he's buying a sports car this weekend, so I think I have more leverage. Hehehe.

This is my current stash:
24 Unbleached premium size prefolds
1 green dyed premium size prefold
6 snappies
(I really like the look of prefolds sans cover)
3 Fleece topped hemp fussy folds with verigated stitching (did I get the lingo right, Meg?), one pink, one purple, one white.
3 Sammy Sherpa one size fitteds
1 Cuddlebuns one size fitted
2 Bummis prints (space kids and frogs)
18 Hemparoo Babykicks (50/50 large and medium)
6 FB Stuffer
12 assorted Medium FBs
4 embroidered HH from Fussybutt.com.
2 HH (one green, one pink Hawaiin print)
3 flowered PUL covers with matching sundresses from Doodlebottoms.com
About 20 cloth wipes that I haven't gotten the nerve to use yet.
1 hand knitted sherbet colored wool cover (with matching tye dyed shirt)
1 blue/green plaid wool wrap.

So, yeah, I've only been using cloth diapers for about 6 weeks. This is just the stuff I'm keeping. I just listed a bunch of stuff on e-bay and sold a Kiwipie that I bought and decided that I wasn't crazy about all of the work of wool. Maybe I'm just old fashioned in my love for cpfs and covers???

Anyway, who wants to suggest some stuff that I can buy with my new found diaper funds? I don't like wool, and I'm not sure about fitteds---they seem a little bulky compared to even the more generously stuffed pocket diapers.

Another thing--how would I go about starting to use cloth wipes?

Thanks for all your advice and support!..

They're nothing big.. some people sent me some older, less impressive stuff when I first started out. So I listed them on e-bay in hopes of aiding in my addiction. I got the proraps from the diaper service we used for the first month.. before I got brave enough to do my own diaper laundry.

I had no idea how relaxing it would be!

So, yeah, my actions aren't for anything impressive, but it's adding to my stash money...

I'm still figuring out this board, so if I'm replying in the wrong place sorry.

I have wipes, I just don't know how to use them---is there a secret solution to use, number to keep ready every day... can they sit for a few days, etc?

I would DEFINITELY get a couple dozen luxurious double sided wipes in a combo of fabrics... like hemp fleece, sherpa, velour, burly knit terry....

Yum.

And gosh, i don't know, I'm so addicted to my fitteds/wool...

I second more wipes, plus maybe more prefolds since you like them. Maybe trying indian prefolds or getting some pretty dyed or handpainted ones.

For wipes I personally plan to just keep a folded stack plus a little squirt bottle with a wipes solution in it. I'm not sure what I will put in my wipes solution yet, I will try different things I've seen mommas here recommend. Do a forum search for something like wipes solution to see what people have said about it.

Oh, you have wipes?

You could put them in a wipe warmer with water/teatreeoil or I just keep an old sposie wipe container with water and tto in it.... and dip in as needed
