Hi! I've read in some places that Butchers Broom is totally safe to use during pregnancy and in others that it is contraindicated...
Any thoughts or ideas on other natural remedies?

I'm excited to find this thread! I developed terrible varicose veins with this pregnancy and was just settling down to do some research on them, only to find info in my favorite online place!

I have never heard of Butcher's Broom..

Nettle leaf tea helped me... I had vulvar varicosities with both pregnancies.

I took it orally. I cant remember the dose I took everyday. Will check next time I go down stairs

MW suggested I take it.

Next time I will just take cod liver oil as I believe its got A in it.
