Hi Mamas,

I just want to plant a seed. My wonderful next-door-neighbor is moving, probably in about 5 months. Here are the details about the house:

in Woodcroft on a cul-de-sac (great established wooded neighborhood near streets @ S. PT Mall)
BEAUTIFUL private wooded lot
Lovely traditional home with bay windows, deck, courtyard, etc.
4 BR, 3 BA
single car garage
1750 SF
all hardwoods
Beautiful South American tile work lovingly done by the very talented Brazilian dad, who, by the way, has taken amazing care of this house

I think the price will be around 240K but not sure exactly.

We have a wonderful little community- lots of crunchy families. Everyone really looks out for each other and I think that's pretty rare in the suburbs. I feel like we have the best of both worlds living here. Convenient to S.Pt. Mall and shopping, all the support of being in a community, but when I look out my windows, all I see is TREES, birds, occassionally deer. And kids. Kids all run around playing with each other, trek through the woods to play together, ride bikes and play basketball on the cul-de-sac. people borrow eggs and trade childcare (and these are people I actually feel comfortable leaving my kids with!)

It would be so wonderful to have another family next door who appreciates that feeling of community.... (Right now my kids, just like the next-door-neighbor kids, have the run of ours and our neighbors back yards. I may have to put up a fence to break that habit!)

PM me if you'd like to know more or to be in touch with my neighbor/friend.
