I have only done that relative to buying mediums to have on hand. And at 2.5mo C has been in mediums for over a month already. But I'm not buying larges b/c I suspect it will be a while for that. The one thing that tempted me was a wool cover w/ some Irish thing embroidered on it (dh's family is nutty about being Irish)...but I held off. So yes I bought ahead to mediums. But I'm holding off on larges.

I have bought a huge stash of Cloud 9 Softies in large because they won't be available when ds is ready for them.Although the each day I am thinking he may be in the mediums until he is done with diapers.

I have started buying NB diapers to have on hand for when I get pg again (which I hope is soon!). We go for a fertility eval. in August so I hope it's not much longer! It's killing me to look at these itty bitty dipes!

I have done that. Now I'm switching over to mostly one-size diapers though so I'm selling some of my mediums that I never used

I have a dozen or so fitteds right now that are too high in the rise for my little bug, but when he's a toddler should fit nicely, so they wait.

DD#2 is in mediums. DD#1 was still in mediums when she potty trained so I'm not buying larges until we need them.

However if I have another baby someday I'm going to have a nb/small and at least a good start on a medium stash before he/she arrives. My babies chub up quickly and are in mediums at a matter of months.
Braden has mostly Larges. I hear people saying that the babe's went back to Medium after they slimmed down with walking, but we like a higher rise in the Larges we have, 'cause we stuff them lots (pocket diapers) and don't want him to be a plumber.
