My oldest son (13) is circumcised unlike my younger son so I have been supplying him with some water based lube knowing his skin may get irritated. I mentioned this to a friend and she looked at me like I had three heads. Is this not normal? I know intact boys dont need it but are other moms of circumcised boys not making lube available to them?

I left him a bottle of lotion for his use he don't use it a lot but that why he had the choice.

I have never bought lube but we have unscented lotion in the bathroom near our boys room and if definitely gets used LOL

I can't imagine why anyone - even their peers - would know about their lubing habits.

But the best thing a cut male can do - until he undertakes non-surgical foreskin restoration - is avoid dry friction to the glans and any surviving inner skin, to avoid progressive damage.
