<p>I watched it over here (UK) a few months ago and enjoyed it. There is a second series promised and I'm looking forward to it. There are some heatbreaking parts though, which I was glad I'd know about before watching.</p>

The TV series combines stories from both books but the books give a lot more detail on many of the situations.</p>
