Has anyone here checked out one of these communities? Anyone volunteer there for any length of time? What did you think? I have 2 little kids, and I'd love to expose them (and myself) to something like this when they get a little older. Any other volunteer communities like this anyone cares to recommend?

Thanks!!
I visited a Camphill community here in England about 5 years ago. With biodynamic gardens and orchards, hand-made toy and craft workshops, alternative medicine clinic, farm store with community-produced goods and acre upon acre of gorgeous moorland countryside, it was NFL paradise. I was only there for a few hours, and didn't see any of the residential areas, but it felt very friendly, safe and peaceful. I'm not a follower of Steiner philosophies, otherwise I'd have been tempted to move there!
