I'm new to the forum and am so excited to see so many people in the same boat.
Here is my info: I'm 29, married, and ttc.
Last month was my first off of birth control after many years. When I was not on it, I didn't pay much attention to my cycles, so here i am.
My first cycle off of bc was a long on. I believe about 37 days or so. I counted back 14 days from the start of the new cycle and realized DH and I had not BD since 5 days before predicted ovulation time..so ok.
Day one of this cycle was March 27th.
This month, my expected ovulation dates were around the 7th-11th of April since I do remember my cycles were about 30 days when i was not on the pill. I do know that much at least.
Anyhow, this month I paid attention only to my fertile window and cm. I had ewcm on the 8th and 9th of April, no ewcm on the 10th, but we BD. We also BD on the 12th of April. On that day i noticed, (before we BD) that i had a little streak (tiny) of blood in what was clear, strechy cm. I thought this maybe was ovulatory bleeding. The next two days i had tiny spotting. It was pink then lt brownish in color. Very light and it was only noted with a finger or deep wiping-nothing on panties.
I'm hoping so much that we caught the eggie. I believe I'm about 11 dpo right now, but I don't know what to expect in terms of period timing, because I'm not sure it will be normal this month.
I should add that I believe the delay last month was due to me starting, then stopping the pill. I took about a week's worth.
I am hoping to have a normal cycle this month and that I was right in my assumption of ovulation bleeding.
Just a couple of questions to anyone with knowledge--can it be that i get ewcm for 2 days, then non, then ovulate?
I'm trying to target when I ovulated--also am wondering --if it was ovulation spotting did it happen before or after ovulating? Are my chances good?
Any comments are appreciated!
