I would use chalkboard paint. We had some in our old house and we were able to cover a HUGE wall with it! It cleaned well too : ) They also have chalkboard "sticky" type things, we have that now in our rental -- easy to clean but a drag to put on
yeah my house is a homage to chalkboard paint, I love it but went a bit mad at christmas with it and now my friends mock me ;-) . Its great stuff. It cleans well, but tbh if it doesn't its cheap enough that you can always just paint over it.
Wow that chalkboard on pinterest is looking pretty stylish... that site can be addictive! I never considered converting some other surface other than a wall with chalkboard paint. Maybe this could work for us. Thank you everyone for your input.
