Okay, I know that probably sounds horrible. But I can't help but worry that this new LO will be a child from hell

My DS is such a good little boy. He and I have a great bond and he's just so easy to manage. I hear over and over from ppl about how one child has a certain temperament and the next kid is the total opposite. I'm just worried that my DS will have his world rocked if new LO comes out screaming and just totally throws off our rhythm. UGH, I know these are all last minute fears and what ifs.

Does anyone out there have two great kiddos? As I typed that I realize how silly it sounds

I'm sure everyone loves all their kiddos equally. but you KWIM...

This is my biggest fear, I am so afraid this little boy is going to come out a brat and poor ds1 will suffer the most. You are not alone in this fear, I think about it all the time

I have four amazing sons. I love them all and each one is very different. You will get into a groove and find what works once the baby is here. Falling in love with your child is one of the most amazing things ever! All the best to you

Honestly, it's a legit concern. I have had 2 babies from hell and 2 angels. However, as they grow, they change. My first child from hell is now the most docile being. I love spending one on one time with him because he's so fun and chill. My 2 angels are now in a whiny phase and having to spend one on one time with them can be quite exhausting. So even if you get a hell on wheels baby, it doesn't mean that will be his permanent personality. People are constantly changing and he could do a total 180 in a year or two (or ten lol).

DS was a pretty good baby, slept a lot (not always when I wanted him to) & was ALWAYS happy, outgoing & high energy. I'm worried I'm going to have a cranky, colicky, introverted kid this time, esp. since I've been under a lot of stress this pregnancy.

I could go for a kid that has a little less energy this time around, but he'll be who he'll be. I really hope I can do my VBAC so I can take advantage of all those good bonding hormones. Not that I had trouble bonding with DS with my Emer C-section but......

PS It isn't horrible to have these concerns.
