That's really the whole question.
If so...who makes them this way?
TIA!!!

anyone?
No, licensing guidelines don't allow for it. If you want that to change, maybe e-mail Amy of BabyByYou! and ask for it to change.

Is that Nancy who I placed an order with last week?
I see you weighing in on CB threads.

Nancy is at www.rockinghorsebabies.com and a wonderful CuddleWAHM.

And I'll just ditto her. lol Nope, no quick dry CBs.. and that's a damn shame.

I was wondering if that was Nancy; but, she didn't have an advertising sig.

I've also enjoyed a CB from Kira,
yall don't need me to give the URL, which is why I'm glad Nancy has OV now.

CBs not being QD really stinks. That, SOS, and my Crickett are my holdouts for drying. My stash is big enough now and we're ecing, so its not so big a deal now. I wouldn't do a lot of them though.

Only if you buy the pattern and make them yourself.

And I'll agree with the sentiment that it's a darn shame that licenced CBs can't be made QD.
Seriously,
If I could buy 12 qd cuddlebuns..I would have a stash from soon after nb through pt! Now I realize that would prevent me from "needing" to shop for diapers...which in itself would be a darn shame

but....

wouldn't it be grand to not HAVE to shop very time your kid grew?

I have even more of a problem with not being able to get internal soakers totally clean and rinsed than I do with the drying time.

Somebody "on the inside" should change the licensing! Thay could make a whole bunch of new diaper sales...

Sooooo.. since they can't be made without an internal soaker, can you request that the internal soaker be ONE layer and the snap-in "doubler" be three layers (that would be plenty of absorbency for most babies).

I mean.. technically it still has a soaker inside.. albeit a thin one.. and it would still dry really fast. Or does the soaker inside have to consist of a certain number of layers per the contract?

Don't quote me on this
: but I think you could custom order something "QD" like what you're talking about Amber. I believe the stipulation is that there has to be a permanant "C" for 'custom' on the inside wing, (similar to the area where you put a "2" for a second quality item), so that any future purchasers would know that it deviates from the standard CB pattern.

As for absorbancy - what I've been doing with mine (home sewing pattern of course) is the knit outer, 2 full body layers of hemp fleece, and a snap-in doubler that is about 4 layers of hemp fleece. It seems to be working well for us, and it's not taking long to dry at all.

Now THAT sounds like a diaper I could fall in love with!
I wish I had time to sew diapers (I don't) and wish I had a snap press! (again, don't :LOL )

I hear ya !! A snap press would be a dream come true. And time to sew ? I sneak it in in pieces - I could never cut it as a WAHM.

Mind you - if I ever find myself short on time and high on PayPal, I'll high tail it back to a WAHM and let HER figure out how to do it :LOL
