Can hardly get pins through

I just bought some dritz pins and hemparoo duz-it-alls. it is SOOOO hard to get the pins through. DS gets very frustrated by the time i get one stinkin' pin through.

any tricks to this?

Try sticking the pins in a bar of soap or run them through your hair. Even freshly washed hair has enough oils in it to make the pins slick. That's the way I keep my pins slick. Just be careful not to poke yourself in the head (like my DH did today :LOL )!

get a bar of soap and wrap it in an old sock (or one that the mate has mysteriously disappeared in the dryer) stick the pins in there - the soap helps it move through the diaper.

If the soap is not handy, run the pin through your hair, or along the side of your nose - that helps it slide through as well.

Isn't it strange how the dryer eats socks???? Mine has an affinity for dh's uniform socks. Maybe it's a revolt against all the black socks and black t-shirts that go through daily!
