Can I find this?

A CNM and O/B working together in NC? (triangle-eastern--(RM, Wil, G-ville)) I want a natural birth;but, I also want the benefit of a O/Bs advanced training. We lost our first child and my trust was shaken in relying on MW solely for my care, after the struggle to *get it! I'd like a birth *team. Is this possible?

I know of them here in the Raleigh/Durham area, but not out your direction. I know a midwife who comes out your direction to do homebirths, though. If I find out that there is a good OB/CNM practice out there, I will let you know.
My midwife here in Greenville works with a practice of OB's. There are 3 CNM's in this practice. Greenville Obstetrics: 1-800-521-1664. I know of at least one other practice here that has midwife/OB teams, but I've never been there. Let me know if you need more info!

I was just looking at G-ville the other day, since we are looking to move that way! Well, RM/Nash Co. Sounds like a winner! Is it rotational? There's a practice up here in Cary with two CNM's and OB's; but, they're rotational. Thanks for the lead! I saw quite a bit of MW's in a search on the ACNM site; including OB's. They deliver at Pitt? Someone mentioned there's a birth center attached? Do they have tubs?

Thanks!
Now, if I can find someone until I move......
:LOL

I think there are a couple of practices in Wilmington with a CNM and ob/gyns. The main midwife (CNM) group is backed up by obs and people I know who've used them really like them. I can try to get you more info if you're interested.
Thanks Monica! This is not a foreign thing! Whew! I was concerned! But, *not that far east! I got the G-ville lead, we're lookin to move to Rocky Mount/Nash Co., and Wilson, or G-ville wouldn't be too far! Right now we're living in Raleigh. Ging-ging! did you get my PM? I need someone in the Triangle until I move!

Thanks yall! I need to make some calls so when I get the lines, :LOL. I can go! I want to be right on top this time. I know they won't see you until a certain time; but, if they won't I'll just go back to my OB. It would be different if this was my first pg or my second and I had a healthy child already!

I LOVED Greenville OB!

I can attest to all three CNM's being AWESOME!!! Becky Bagley deliverd Kailey, and she brought oils and a birth ball. She helped me through hard labor and breathed right along with me. LOVE LOVED LOVED THEM!

The Ob's were pretty cool too. Dr. Tyler is really nice as is Dr. Gray (Grey?)
I almost forgot. I saw Dr. Susan Baine Post partum, she was really nice to.

Sounds like G-Ville OB is getting rave reviews! I hope I can get in! And dh said we might have to hold in Raleigh for a while,
: as his company is making some changes. Well......he supports us; but, then we I'm suspecting our new downstairs neighbor is a smoker!!!!

Crazy as this sounds. A downstairs smoker is dangerous to those living above them. Since heat/smoke rise it can come into your home through vents. And as smoke from cigarettes gets cooler, it also become more toxic

In the triangle, I love Triangle OB/GYN. 3 CNM's + the ob's. The ob on call didn't get there in time for ds' birth, so the hospital nurses delivered him. Offices in Cary and Raleigh. I delivered at Western Wakemed, natural birth -- walked, I had brought my own ball, but was in the tub most of the time. (I was one of the first in the new birthplace there in 02.
