I thought it would be fun to have a general chatting thread to talk about whatever.

I'm personally thinking that with how hungry I am right now that I could eat a whole turkey by myself. I also had my first inkling of morning sickness this morning...ALREADY! I can't believe it. Hopefully it won't get much worse than general nausea. :p

How's everyone else doing?

Been nauseous and tired since 6DPO.
Boobs really sore as well.

I've managed to keep food down so far, but I'm just not all that motivated to eat. I hope it doesn't get worse!

Starving! but nauseous and I can't figure out what sounds appealing. I have an awful headache right now . Hoping it goes away... soon. I guess I'm cranky at the moment, lol...

Are you ladies still nursing a toddler right now too? Mine has been so attached to me the last few days. She is cutting some molars right now, so I'm not sure if she's just comfort nursing, or if my supply is already dropping and she's hungry. I wish she would start consuming more than a few bites of solid food a day!

I'm nursing my 27 month old. She can be quite clingy and the nursey gnawing gets to me after awhile. She's a little bigger so I'll nurse her for a bit and tell her that I need to do something else for a few. I'm still producing milk... just not sure it's all day production, lol. I'm really wondering if she'll continue with no milk, I think she will.

Craving protein, not craving cereal (which is my favorite food). Slight nausea here and there especially when I get hungry, which is pretty often. But I have been any way because I'm still nursing too. And more frequent urination than normal, completes my list of symptoms.

When I was pregnant with my ds, in the first trimester, I was super bitchy. I worked at a small bookstore, and was actually pretty rude to some customers as I remember . I feel bad about it now, but I just remember feeling mad at the world for 3 months; even though I was excited to be pregnant!

I'm nursing a 16 month old, but I'm noticing he's cutting back. It's also a little more painful now, I'm probably just a bit more sensitive now. My little guy's molars came in all at once, he was grumpy, but a trooper

I'm still not sure what I'm feeling since I just found out today... disbelief I think I'm hoping I'm not dragging butt Friday for shopping! This is also the first time in about 3 years we're celebrating Thanksgiving... and I don't even have to cook! But I'm not very interested in food very much lately. I'm not ready to go public yet with this pg, so it will be a nice secret until after the first tri

I'm not really going public yet either. I love how a completely open forum on the internet isn't considered going public though! I'm thinking I may wait until after the new year???

Right now I keep getting really hungry and eating, but then everything I eat makes me feel sick.

That is exciting... I've been doing even more research on UC'ing. I feel so drawn to this. I'm trying to set my support system in place. Looking at videos and reading up on birth stories.

Protein... that's all I want. I am so excited about TURKEY!! I probably will only eat turkey . I called and scheduled our first appointment with the midwife today. It makes it so much more real!!! Our Bradley instructor recommended her it will be so cool to have her come to the house. I was worried about bringing a toddler to all of those appointments. Not that he is terrible but the appointments can be a little boring.

Just told my dad I'm pregnant again... he was the last one I told. I'm really surprised by his reaction. He said, well that's exciting news! (shock!?) and I stammered a bit. Then he said, (teasingly) don't you guys know how that works yet? And I said, apparently too well. That's such a weight off of my shoulders and I love that he wasn't negative in his response.

I'm excited for that too! I haven't picked our mw yet, but 2 of the ones I'm interviewing do prenatals at your home. My DD will be so much happier just getting to play at home than having to ride in the car, sit in a waiting room, sit in an exam room, ride in the car some more, etc. I don't think any toddler would enjoy that!

I'm just tired. And crummy. And my breasts are super sore, especially when ds nurses-yikes. And I'm eating eating junk-ish type food. That has to stop, but it likely won't until after this weekend, if then. But I have to remind myself that everything I eat is for this baby. We've told a few people, those who I know will support us if things don't go well. We're going to tell my family on Thanksgiving (well, the Saturday after) and dh's family, eh, sometime. They're not so much involved. Our midwife was the first person we called. We love her.

I'm kind of blah tonight. Hoping I can get a good night's sleep tonight.

Oh gosh, Nic that sounds like my family. This will be our 5th pg, 4th baby, and my mom always says something like "are you getting that tubal yet?" I tell her Michelle Duggar is my idol

For this birth I've promised myself to not ruin it. With my last pg, I was so gung ho on making sure every detail was followed in my mind, I never prepared for the c/s and had a hard time coming to grips even though I was sure I was okay with it all. I'm going to go with the flow, talk to the doula I wanted last pg, and work out a vba3c with my ob (who is surprisingly supportive)... yikes, even writing that seems rough!

Kristeremy - I'm eating on the not so healthy side, too I picked up some pistachios & bananas & almond milk at the store earlier to try and combat it. We can do it!!!

Evie'sMama - It is funny, isn't it??!! I feel so much closer to the mamas I've met here on MDC, so after DH, I announce here. I'm torn between waiting until Hanukkah or after New Year's. I'd like to wait until I hear the hb or have an u/s.

Add me to the "we haven't told yet" crowd. My relationship with DH has been very rocky over the last year and this pregnancy was a total surprise. We're not expecting a positive reaction from either of our families or friends...though I am waiting till Sunday and telling my family in person at DS's birthday party rather than over the phone. I'm hoping they'll have enough sense to keep their comments to themselves until afterward! I don't really care when DH's family finds out, he doesn't either, they haven't made much effort to be involved in our lives since we got together; I don't think it will be any different with baby #2.

Otherwise I'm excited! I'm interviewing a midwife on the 10th, and yesterday I talked to the birth center I want to use. Even though insurance won't cover a dime if I use the center I'm leaning that way already...a water birth sounds heavenly and very healing after my first birth experience.
